Poem: MRI Test

MRI Test (Poem) Shake and bake me Wake me after loading me Into the million dollar coffin... Engulfing me with loud sounds, Tapping of hidden hammers, Squealing of dolphins speeding To the sea surface to tumble and arc. I lie perfectly still, a soldier at attention, Hands folded with frozen fingers, Feeling cool metallic noises battering My sanity. Put me in the deep freezer, Water in the icetray, waitinging to solidify. Claustrophobia infects my mind. Shaking that resonates in this tunnel For the mining of all healthful ores. The results: my East Indian woman doctor said, "Mr. Eret, the results were negative And they found nothing in your head."
